Progressive Field, formerly known as Jacobs Field is home of the MLB’s Cleveland Indians. The ballpark opened in Downtown Cleveland in 1994, and was once voted one of the best ballparks in baseball. Between June 12, 1995 through April 4, 2001, Progressive Field had a set a major league record for selling out 455 straight games. Progressive Field is popular among fans for its comfortable seating and clean, unobstructed sight lines. A truly unique feature of the ballpark is its angled seating sections which places seats at an 8 to 12 degree angle which allows fans a better view of the middle of the diamond. The Field is a part of the Gateway Sports and Entertainment Complex together with Quicken Loans Arena.
